Volunteering

Image 3Glasgow RDA is currently supported by over 100 volunteers and without their help, we wouldn’t be able to run our classes. Our volunteers help in our classes by acting as side-walkers (i.e. walking beside a horse to support the rider when necessary)  or leaders (leading a pony during a lesson) or as class instructors.

If you’re 16 years old or over and can commit to helping us regularly for at least an hour a week, we’d love to hear from you. Don’t have horse experience? No problem! We have a very thorough induction process that ensures you have time to get comfortable around horses before you start being involved in the classes.

If you’d like to volunteer, please contact us on 0141 945 1369 or email: volunteeringrdaglasgow@gmail.com to arrange to come and watch a class to see what’s involved. Already done that? Click to download our volunteer application form Volunteer application form
